v   WHO-EMRO (World Health Organization –East Mediterranean Regional Office) translation expert working on WHO official publications, and temporary advisor on several projects especially on Unified Medical Dictionary.

The project (Electronic Pharmaceutical Index In UAE) is designed and programmed to include medical information related to the drugs used in UAE, where they are indexed, and processed in a user friendly data base, thus providing medical and pharmaceutical information for all medical professionals in a simple, practical and comprehensive way; it also serves the Pharmaceutical companies by presenting their products in a scientific up to date pattern suitable for the present era of electronic multimedia information.

 

The practical execution of such a new and up to date project is based upon building up good connections with international pharmaceutical companies located and working in UAE, especially in Dubai, in order to sponsor the project, and supply required information, as well as provide the necessary financial support.

 

v  Supervision of pharmaceutical promotion in Syria

Medico pharmaceutical company (01/01/1994 - 02/01/1998)

 

This activity covers Medical advisory for all activities of medical promotion in addition to supervising the performance of 40 medical representatives.

v  Pharmacists Union in Syria (1991-1997)

In charge of editing the publication project of the "Syrian Vademecum” besides supervising the whole publication process according to a contract signed with Pharmacists Union in Syria. The project was published under the Title:

Arabic Translation of drug leaflets (1990-1991)
